Economy Adds 227k Jobs
The Labor Department just reported that the U.S. added 227,000 jobs last month which is good. However, the unemployment rate remains at 8.3% which might be understandable given labor dynamics but it’s as psychically challenging as exercising and reducing fat while gaining muscle and NOT losing anything on the scale. It’s a tougher nut to crack than rent and alimony, as Billy Clyde Puckett once observed.
