  • Ripping off McDonalds

Here’s a cheesy bit of spam designed to rob you blind.

A survey purportedly in the name of McDonalds promises you $250 for answering a few silly questions.  Using McDonalds logos and tag line (I’m loving it,” sure) the survey almost looks real.  You get the money at the end after you give your credit card number (the $250 will be credited there, LOL!)  This is such a poorly designed rip off that the survey tool used doesn’t even enforce the most basic housekeeping–like ensuring you answer the questions before you apply for the prize. Then there’s the matter of the link itself which I reproduce here: http://bridalblingapparel.com/images/Catch-the-Buzz/mc/3.html.  Bridal Bling Apparel?  The eminent market research company that does work for all the fast food companies?  That one?  Really?  No wonder it’s so hard to get people to take surveys.

    Hey, McDonalds, are you listening?
