So, things are jumping here.  Yesterday we made the formal announcement of my new book, “Hello, Ladies! Dispatches from the Social CRM Frontier” and last week we introduced a new award to front office companies for building and supporting sustainability in front office business processes.

“Ladies” brings together analysis from the last year and a half that focuses on specific topics like SocialCRM, customer experience and sustainability.  Together the pieces provide more in-depth analysis than you can get reading them individually, sort of the power of numbers.  I hope you’ll take a look on line here.

Just looking at the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico you get a visceral understanding that, regardless of anyone’s position on global warming or peak oil, the graphic reality is that we have to do a heck of a lot to keep modern life humming, including using a lot of energy.  Where we can it makes sense to conserve, to use less energy so that demand doesn’t drive us to such lengths as drilling for oil a mile beneath the surface of the ocean.

Moving on, the summer looks to be very busy.  Enterprise 2.0 is in Boston mid-month followed by an appearance at a panel discussion in New York and participation in Salesforce.com’s analyst day in San Jose at the end of the month.  And that’s just June.

If you are coming to Boston for E2.0 and would like to set up a meeting, please give a call or comment on this post.
